Do you need help buying fresh, nutritious food?

We are proud to partner with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also known as food stamps, to get you the extra help you need. SNAP benefits can be used to purchase food at grocery stores, convenience stores, some farmers’ markets, and other food vendors. Although the main purpose of SNAP is to help cover the cost of food, enrolling in SNAP provides you and your family with many other benefits, including:

Whether you drop in or make an appointment, make sure to bring all the documents you need to determine your SNAP eligibility:

  • Proof of identity (ex. drivers license, passport)

  • Proof of MA residency (ex. rent receipt)

  • Receipt of 1 month of income, earned or unearned (ex. pay stub)

If you’re an immigrant and unsure how your citizenship status affects your eligibility, don’t be scared to come in and meet with us. During a private and confidential  one-on-one meeting, we will work with you to make sure you know exactly what you are entitled to and how to access it.
